(02)What data we process
The data you give us in the contact form: name, company, email, phone, what you need, areas of interest, approximate budget and your message. Also anything you send us by email and, if you sign up for updates on the documentary The Rebirth of a Giant, your email address. In addition, the server records technical connection data (such as your IP address) to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
(03)What we use it for
To answer your request, send you an automatic acknowledgement and, if you ask, prepare a quote. If you become a client, to manage the professional relationship and invoicing. If you sign up for the documentary updates, only to write to you when it enters a festival or a screening is announced; you can unsubscribe by replying to any of those emails. We do not use your data to send advertising or newsletters, and we make no automated decisions or profiles.
(04)Legal basis
Your consent, given by ticking the form checkbox and which you may withdraw at any time (art. 6.1.a GDPR). Pre-contractual steps or the contract, when you request a quote or hire us (art. 6.1.b). Legitimate interest in keeping the site secure, for technical logs (art. 6.1.f). And legal tax and accounting obligations (art. 6.1.c).
(05)How long we keep it
Requests that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 12 months. Client data is kept for the duration of the relationship and then for the periods required by law (for example, tax rules). Emails for the documentary updates are deleted when its screening run ends. Server technical logs are deleted after 14 days.
(06)Who we share it with
We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required. To provide the service we work with providers that process it only on our behalf: Hostinger International Ltd. (server and email hosting). If you book a call through Cal.com, that service processes your data under its own policy.
(07)Third-party services and transfers
To display the site, your browser connects to Google Fonts (typefaces) and to Cloudflare Web Analytics (aggregate visit counts, no cookies or profiles), which receive your IP address. If you accept analytics cookies, also to Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.), which measures site usage in aggregate; you can withdraw that consent from “Cookie preferences”. Some of them, such as Google, Cloudflare or Cal.com, may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards described in their policies.
(08)Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to proyectos@macaronesianstreet.com. If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
(09)Minors
This site is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly process their data.
(10)Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted server access and storage of requests outside the public part of the site.
